I was very cautious with my selection for this project since I had a bad experience with a different company for a project back in 2020 - I made a good decision selecting VCHS. They gave me the best quote which was realistic considering how the lumber costs fluctuated. There were a few small things I found, that had to be fixed few days after they were done building the deck. I just had to send one text message and Adam made sure it was fixed promptly in a couple of days. They didn't even ask me to pay the balance amount until "everything" was taken care of and made sure I was happy. I strongly recommend VCHS since they know what they are doing, experience and customer focus. They know how to keep their customers happy, which is hard to find these days.

We had an addition and stairs added to our existing deck. Jason and team did an amazing job from start to finish. Jason came out multiple times to talk with my husband about the placement of the stairs and answered every text I had very timely. We had angst about the stairs due to the slope of our yard, but it turned out perfect! The crew did an amazing job, were professional, courteous, clean, and quick! VCHS did an outstanding job of renovating our existing deck. We needed the railing around the deck replaced. I was also concerned about our old pergola collapsing during a storm. Their original plan called for work to start in mid-August. When I expressed my concern about the pergola, they quickly dismantled in within the next few days. The railing was also finished ahead of time. They also deftly avoided damaging our landscaping during the entire project. All in all, extremely pleased with their work, flexibility, and communication. Thanks guys!
